| Toei Animation announced today that the new anime movie for the "Saint Seiya" franchise is now due for theatrical release in early summer 2014. The movie will be done in CG and the title is "Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary." It will cover the Sanctuary arc and will be directed by Satou Keiichi. Saint Seiya was written by Kurumada Masami from 1986 to 1990 and has since spawned multiple spinoff manga, TV anime series, OVAs, movies, and even stage musicals.
