Anime Madness Banner Contest (Voting Phase)

My vote goes to #1! Here's why:

#1 - I actually like how the renders didn't take up all the space unlike the other two banners making it look less crowded. I also like how the text is subtle yet still noticeable. I thought the drop shadows were kind of unnecessary and the lighting (though pretty) doesn't go with the flow of the sig (by that I mean, if the shadow is at the top left, I would assume the lighting comes from the bottom right... but there's some lighting on the left).

#2 - None of the renders were blended in so they stuck out like a sore thumb to me...I mean, depending on the style it would be fine, but none of the girls looked like they belonged together.

#3 - Great lighting and I love the text! But I felt that the renders were positioned awkwardly. They didn't seem to fit in together.

I voted for #1, even though i dont really like SnK theme, it's renders has rather close style and blended in with each other well. Text visible but those swords make it a bit hard to read?...

#2 too many different styles... and having too many different characters in such a confined space.... no.

#3 Faces.... faces everywhere.... and text seems lost because of those huge faces or colours... Again different styles not fitting with each other...

I think No 2 is absolutely not fit ... for a signature or something, for a banner I don't really mind it being crowded. on its plus side, it's the only banner where the forum name is clearly readable, and the floating hair and cloth provide a background that almost seems to be in motion, while the #1 background looks pretty boring and I think it would tell people "we are a Shingeki Forum" instead of we are an anime forum" xD
The third picture looks good and is elaborately done and resembles the first one we had though it is less colorful, but our name is hard to read, and I prefer pictures that are made to be looked at for more than once to be more complex than this,
so I voted for Pic nr. 2 to accompany us for the next season.

ah, and I like the characters on it. lol

and i was thinking of us having to have a tie breaker if two entries were to end up in a tie...but now it wont work...XD...

I guess I'll be the tie breaker. If you want my honest opinion of which I'd choose, it would be:
